Students pursuing Kinesiology:

 

Math

Placement into college algebra is sufficient for degree progress. Students may register for statistics, pre-calculus, college algebra or higher placement after consulting with an academic adviser during orientation.

Chemistry

Placement into CHEM 1015/1017 Introductory Chemistry or 1061/1065 Chemical Principles I is sufficient for degree progress.

  • Students pursuing the pre-Physical Therapy track will require additional chemistry beyond what is required for the Kinesiology major. It is recommended that students who place into CHEM 1015/1017 Introductory Chemistry and intend to pursue physical therapy engage in the chemistry learning modules to master the knowledge required for placement in CHEM 1061/1065 Chemical Principles I.

Students pursuing Business and Marketing Education; Human Resource Development; Sport Management; and Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Studies:
