Placement Examination
Introduction
To take a placement examination using this website, you should use one of the following browsers:
Netscape 3.0 (or higher)
or
Microsoft Internet Explorer
NOTE: Some Internet services can experience interruptions in service
and disconnect the test while you are taking it. We highly recommend taking
the tests during off-peak times. If you start the test and your Internet service
gets interrupted, you may need to call to have your test reset, which could
delay your scores.
You should have received your username and password from your college
office with information telling you which placement test(s) to take. If
you are not sure which placement test(s) to take, refer to the letter from
your college.
You should plan on about 1 1/12 hours for each test (to allow for reading
the instructions, taking the practice test, and then taking the actual
test). For the General Math test, you should plan on at least 2 hours.
To go to the sign-on screen, click on the "Sign On" button. Have your user name
and password ready.
